Ammophoska: fertilizer composition, instructions for use

Anonim

Choosing fertilizers for a garden, a summer resident evaluates the composition of the drug, its effect on all types of crops and the price. Ammophoska is an affordable tool, it can be used on any soil (top dressing, direct application to the soil when plowing).

Composition and purpose of Ammofoski

Complex fertilizer (fat) has the form of granules (6 mm), they include four chemical elements:

  1. First and main - phosphorus (ammonium phosphate, potassium phosphate), its 15%, it is involved in the process of nucleotide synthesis, supplies energy to metabolic processes occurring in plants.
  2. The second most important is nitrogen (ammonium sulfate) in percentage terms it is less (12%). It is necessary to increase productivity.
  3. Potassium sulfate (15%) stimulates immunity, affects yield.
  4. The composition of the granules includes sulfur (14%), it facilitates the absorption of nitrogen by plants.

Ammofoska is used in all regions of the Russian Federation, but there are climatic zones where fat brings the maximum effect. An acute need for phosphorus is felt by plants grown in regions where drought is a common occurrence. This drug is used by farmers and amateur vegetable growers as a means of resuscitation with obvious signs of phosphorus deficiency in crops of any type and to restore soil fertility.

Advantages and disadvantages

Easily soluble phosphates are the main component of Ammophoska, they determine the beneficial properties of the fertilizer:

  • stimulate the formation of a developed root system;
  • improve fruit taste;
  • improve plant stress tolerance;
  • increase yields;
  • retention period is lengthening.

The absence of compounds containing chlorine and sodium is a clear plus. They are aggressive and a number of cultures react poorly to them. Plus - the possibility of using fat in the greenhouse.

Reference: Ammophoska universal is applied to the soil in early spring, it is effective at sub-zero temperatures.

There are disadvantages, you need to know them when purchasing fertilizer:

  • unsuitable for autumn feeding - stimulates the rapid growth of weeds;
  • quickly loses useful properties in leaky packaging, after opening the package, the granules must be poured into a container with a tight lid.

Behavior in soil

Ammofoske is characterized by a long action. After the granules are introduced into the soil, their gradual dissolution occurs, which provides the plants with nutrients for a long time. Fertilizer is converted into ions in the soil.

Ammonium ion

NH4+ formula, when NH4+ is absorbed with soil colloids, ammonium s alts are formed. Plants spend less energy on the absorption of ammonium nitrogen than on nitrate nitrogen. Ammonium is involved in the formation of amino acids, which are necessary for the synthesis of chlorophyll and the formation of proteins. Plants that prefer acidic soils absorb NH4+ better.

Sulfate ion

Most of the fat is sulfate ions. These nitrogen compounds are less washed out of fertile soil layers.

Phosphate-ones

These phosphorus compounds dissolve easily, they are gradually converted into chemical compounds typical of this type of soil, and are well absorbed by plants.

Potassium ion

Chemical compound - a participant in absorption processes (exchange, non-exchange).

Application on various types of soils

Can be used on any type of soil. The best result is achieved when it is applied to sandy, clay and peat soils.

Important! Ammophos is an excellent fertilizer for greenhouse crops.

Sod-podzolic soils

Ammophoska is applied during planting as the main fertilizer. A positive result is observed when it is applied to certain crops:

  • potato;
  • crops;
  • sugar beet;
  • linen.

Ordinary, carbonate, southern chernozems

This type of soil is typical for the steppe zones. In chernozems of any kind, ammophos is applied without the use of other types of fertilizers containing nitrogen. This applies to applying fertilizer to the soil and using it as top dressing (root, foliar).

Chestnut soils, gray soils

The effect of the use of this fat is obtained on irrigated lands. Apply dry granules, or combine with irrigation - fertigation method.

Effect on plants

The use of multi-component fat is recommended for crops of any kind. Universal fertilizer makes plants resistant to infections, increases their yield, improves pollination.

Flowers

All types of flowers are fed with Ammophos in the spring. The granules are not scattered over the surface, but are buried in the soil during loosening to a depth of 2 to 5 cm.

Potatoes

During the planting of potatoes, granules in accordance with the rate specified in the instructions are introduced into the planting hole (1 tbsp. L.). Before putting the tuber, the fertilizer is lightly mixed with the ground. Ammophoska perfectly replaces organic matter (humus) and greatly facilitates the work of summer residents.It takes 2.5 kg of fertilizer per hundred square meters of a potato field.

Peppers

Fat is applied to the soil when preparing the ridge for planting, and adult plants are fed with a solution prepared according to the instructions. On a 10-liter bucket take 10 tbsp. l. granules.

Tomatoes

Tomatoes can be fed with Ammofoska in several ways:

  • at the time of transplanting seedlings into the ground;
  • at the beginning of flowering;
  • 2 weeks after the formation of the first ovaries.

Pear

Under the pear, fertilizer should be applied in the spring. Throughout the season, the granules, dissolving in the soil, will nourish the root system with the necessary nutrients for the fruit tree: at the beginning of the season - with nitrogen, and during the fruiting period - with potassium and phosphorus. Thanks to Ammophoska, the process of fruit ripening is accelerated, their taste improves.

Seedlings

When growing seedlings of vegetable and flower crops, it is recommended to purchase Ammofoska station wagon. To prepare a liquid solution, 3 to 5 g of fertilizer is dissolved in 1 liter of water. When transplanting seedlings into the ground, the granules are poured into the hole (1 tsp), mixing them with the ground.

Ornamental Plants

Lawn grass, ornamental leafy plants should be fed with Ammofoska in spring. Shrubs quickly gain green mass. Granules must be applied to the soil, if you scatter them over the surface, then most of the nitrogen will evaporate. The maximum sowing depth is 5 cm. A well-drained lawn is fertilized by simply spreading granules over its surface (25 g/m²).

Beans, sugar beets

When planting beets, granules are applied to the planting furrow, the application rate is 10 g/m. Increase the size of root crops and their sugar content summer top dressing.

Wheat

When pre-sowing Ammofoska is applied to the soil, the percentage of gluten in wheat increases. With intensive cultivation of cereals, top dressing with multi-component fertilizer can be carried out in the summer during the active growing season.

Sunflower, soybeans, rapeseed

These crops, when fed with Ammophoska, increase yields, the percentage of oil content in the harvested crop increases. Apply both top dressing during the period of active growth, and fertilization during plowing.

How to use?

In the instructions for use, printed on the package, precise recommendations for the use of the drug are given. There are consumption rates for each crop. When preparing the soil for planting in the spring, 25 g/m² is applied to cultivated soil, when plowing virgin soil, 35 g/m² is applied, the norm for protected soil is 40 g/m².

How to store?

After opening the package, the fertilizer should be used immediately. If, after feeding, unused granules remain in the bag, they must be poured into a container with an airtight lid, which must be stored in a dark room. When storing a fertilizer in an open bag, nitrogen escapes, and the drug loses some of its beneficial properties.

Safety precautions

When using a chemical, you must follow basic safety measures, use simple personal protective equipment:

  • respirator when working with large volumes of fertilizer;
  • heavy work clothes;
  • rubber gloves.

At the end of plant nutrition, use soap to wash hands and face. If a chemical preparation gets into the mucous membrane of the eye, you should immediately rinse your eyes with running water, and then see a specialist (oculist).

Compatible with other top dressings

When restoring the fertility of depleted soil, Ammofoska is used in conjunction with potash and nitrogen fertilizers. Do not mix tuk with alkaline fertilizers:

  • ash;
  • calcium nitrate;
  • sodium nitrate.

When they are combined, most of the nitrogen is lost, and phosphorus compounds are not absorbed.

Ammophoska is an affordable fertilizer, easy to use, giving a good yield increase.
