Banks are placed on the grate upside down. The steam rising from the boiling water sterilizes the containers. Sterilization time - 15 minutes.
Sterilized jars are removed from the grill and placed neck down on a clean cloth. The lids are boiled for 10-15 minutes in water just before the cans are rolled up.
Glass lids can be sterilized with jars over steam, and iron clamps can be boiled before rolling.
