This delicious amber jam is made with just two ingredients:

  • two kilograms of fruit;
  • two kilograms of granulated sugar.

The sequence of actions is as follows:

  1. From firm and ripe apples, remove the core, place in a saucepan and sprinkle with sugar. Let stand for half a day to get juice. If the fruits are not very juicy and there is not enough liquid, you can add half a glass of water so that the apples do not burn.
  2. The delicacy should be boiled over low heat. After the sugar is completely dissolved, the apples will give more juice. Bring syrup to a boil and remove from heat. While boiling, gently stir the apples. The part that is in the syrup will cook faster. When heated, the fruits change color, turning into golden.
  3. After it boils, you should cover the delicacy with a plate and put oppression, the weight of which is not more than one and a half kilograms. It is necessary for the fruits to be immersed in sweet water. Remove the container on the table and let the finished treat cool down.

Now we need to cook the apples again. Bring to a boil over low heat, skim off any foam as it boils. Cook for three minutes and remove from heat. Apply oppression and let it cool again.

The last time from the moment of boiling, keep on fire for about ten minutes. Immediately pack in containers, filling the fruit with syrup. Roll up.

The syrup will be thick, so don't boil the jam for too long.
