Features of growing varieties

Hybrid seedlings are purchased at specialized garden centers or nurseries. For planting fruit crops, sunny areas are chosen, well protected from drafts and gusty, cold winds.

Groundwater deposits are allowed at the level of 1.5-2 m from the ground surface. Peach prefers neutral, loose, fertile soils, low in acids.

The site for planting trees is being prepared in advance:

  • the earth is dug up, loosened, mixed with mineral and organic substances;
  • planting pits up to 60 cm deep are dug on the prepared site;
  • the distance between plantings is maintained from 2 to 2.5 m, between rows - up to 3 m;
  • on the day of planting, the seedlings are placed for 3-4 hours in a container with warm, settled water, the rhizomes are treated with a solution of manganese;
  • the plant is placed in the hole, carefully distributing the rhizomes, covered with fertile soil from above.

Complete planting work with abundant watering of seedlings and mulching the soil with organic materials.

Further care

The fruit tree needs timely watering and fertilizing. The number of irrigations is determined based on the weather and climatic indicators of the growing region. In the southern regions, with prolonged heat and drought, trees require more frequent watering. In temperate regions, irrigation is carried out based on the amount of natural precipitation.

Fruit crops are fed 2-3 times per season:

  • Nitrogen-containing fertilizers are added to the soil in spring;
  • during the period of flowering and fruit formation, trees require additional nutrition based on potassium and phosphorus;
