The use of Kazim fungicide is indicated for crops of wheat, rye, barley and sugar beet.

Release form and composition of Kazim KS

The drug is a systemic fungicide. Belongs to the class of benzimidazoles. The active ingredient is carbendazim, contained in it at a concentration of 500 grams / liter.Produced as a concentrated suspension and sold in plastic canisters with a capacity of 5 liters.

Highly effective one-component drug designed to combat fungal and bacterial infections of plants. It has a protective and curative effect, therefore it is used for preventive purposes and is used to eliminate detected plant diseases.

Spectrum and mechanism of action of the drug

"Kazim KS" inhibits the process of cell division in the event of a fungal or bacterial infection. It is used for spraying crops of wheat, barley, rye, sugar beets. Kazim treatment can protect plants:

  • from root and basal types of rot;
  • powdery mildew;
  • Septoria leaf and spike;
  • cercosporeleza;
  • dry rot, snow mold.

Fungicide prevents lodging of ears, has a preventive effect and provides a therapeutic effect when crops are infected. It is suitable for pre-sowing seed dressing.

Treated with carbendazim, they remain viable for a year if properly stored. Dressing can be carried out a month before planting or on the day of sowing.

Processing during the growing season is carried out after the first symptoms of infection on the plants are detected. Repeated spraying is carried out after 1.5 weeks. To preserve winter crops, autumn processing of fields is possible. Cereals are treated 1-2 times, depending on the diseases, sugar beets are sprayed up to 3 times.

The drug is active at high humidity and after rain. When using, the dosage recommended by the manufacturer should be observed, in which case it does not have phytotoxicity. Plant resistance to the active ingredient develops slowly.

Processing is carried out 1 to 3 times per season. After spraying the plants, they go to the fields for work after 3 days. The fungicide is used at least 40 days before harvest. For sugar beets - at least 50 days.

Instructions for use

The drug belongs to the 2nd hazard class (high toxicity). It is forbidden to use it in personal gardens and vegetable gardens, spray it with the help of small aircraft, use it in the sanitary zone of reservoirs, since it is highly toxic to fish. Beekeepers should be notified 4-5 days before crops are processed to delay the departure of insects.

Spraying is done with a working solution. It is prepared before use and is not stored for more than a day. To prepare the working mixture, 1/3 of the required liquid is poured into the sprayer, then the required amount of fungicide is added and the solution is thoroughly mixed. Dilute to volume with water and mix thoroughly again. After work, the sprayer is washed with water, eliminating the remnants of the working solution.

Processing is carried out on cloudy days. Do not spray fields in sunny weather or in strong winds. Do not use for more than 3 years in a row to avoid accumulation of the active substance in the soil and the development of addiction.

Safety precautions

Each fungicide container is supplied with detailed instructions for the dosage of the drug, the rules for preparing the working solution, the period and conditions for storing the product. The instructions must be followed.

Special work platforms are used to prepare fungicide solutions. They are located near the pesticide storage, away from agricultural buildings and residential buildings. Such a site should be inaccessible to unauthorized persons, children, pets. It is thoroughly washed with running water at the end of work.

Before preparing the solution, wear a special protective suit, a screen or goggles, rubber shoes and gloves. Hair is covered with a cap. During work, you should not be distracted by smoking or eating.

Kazim KS is kept in specialized premises. The container with the fungicide must be tightly closed, store the drug in its original packaging. The title and the warnings provided must be legible. The shelf life of the drug is 2 years from the date of manufacture. The product is not frozen, kept away from direct sunlight.
