What are the types of the drug
"Iskra" - the name of not one drug, but four from the company "Technoexport". Despite the fact that they all have an insecticidal effect, they contain different active substances belonging to several chemical classes.
All "Sparks" have a common property: they are effective at temperatures of 25 ˚C and above, which allows them to be used in late spring and summer, when there is an intensive reproduction of pests. This property is especially valuable, because not all drugs work in the heat and often lose their effectiveness at high temperatures.
In what form they are produced
The manufacturer produces Iskra preparations in various formulations - wettable powder, tablets, water-soluble concentrate, powder, aqueous solution, emulsion concentrate. The dry preparation is packaged in foil sachets, the liquid preparation is in vials and canisters.
"Spark double effect"
Composition: cypermethrin 21 g per kg and permethrin 9 g per kg. Available in tablets and as a wettable powder. The insecticide is designed to protect many types of agricultural plants, destroys more than 60 varieties of pests.
"Golden Spark"
This type of insecticide is available as a water-soluble concentrate, powder and tablets (for use in household plots). The active substance is imidacloprid in the amount of 200 g per liter and 25 g per kg. It is used in agriculture on vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes), sunflowers, corn, in household plots and for processing indoor and balcony flowers.
Spark Bio
Another name is "Akarin". It is produced in the form of an emulsion concentrate and a powder with the active ingredient Avertin N in an amount of 2 g per kg. The concentrate is used in agriculture against ticks, sawflies, beetles, aphids, leafworms, moths, thrips on greenhouse tomatoes, cucumbers, currants and potatoes. The powder is used against gall nematodes on greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers.
"Iskra M"
The active substance - malathion in the amount of 525 g per l, is available as a concentrated emulsion. It is used in agriculture against a complex of pests on cereals, flax, fruit bushes, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, alfalfa and pastures (against locusts).
What is the product used for?
"Iskra" is used to treat major agricultural crops from insect pests of various types, including locust and some types of mites, such as spider mites. Can be used throughout the growing season.
Instructions for the use of insecticide
In agriculture, the rate of application of "Iskra" (in l per hectare):
- cucumber, tomato - 0.5-1.5;
- potato - 0.1;
- corn, sunflower - 2 l.
Consumption - 1000-3000 liters per ha for vegetables, potatoes - 200-400 liters, for corn and sunflower seeds from wireworm - 8-10 liters per ton. 1 treatment is carried out, the period before fruit picking: cucumber - 3 days, tomatoes - 5 days, potatoes - 20, corn and sunflower - 60.
In addition to insecticides, Spark Double Effect contains potassium and mineral elements, so it can be used as a fertilizer that will help plants recover from damage by pests. Norm of application in household plots: 1 tablet per 10 liters of water. Consumption:
- fruit - 2-5 liters per tree;
- strawberries, berries, grapes - 15 liters per hundred square meters;
- potatoes, beets, cabbage, carrots, corn, melon and sunflower - 10 liters per hundred square meters;
- cucumbers, tomatoes, nightshade, ornamental plants and flowers - 20 liters per hundred square meters;
- peas - 15 liters per hundred square meters.
The norm for the use of "Iskra" in household plots: 10 g per 10 liters. Potatoes, flowers, shrubs, cucumbers, tomatoes, apple trees, and currants are processed. Consumption - 10 liters per hundred square meters for potatoes, 10-20 liters for cucumbers and tomatoes, flowers and shrubs - up to 20 liters, apple trees - 2-5 liters per plant, shrubs - up to 15 liters per hundred square meters. The number of sprays is 1-2, the waiting period after treatment is 20 days, for currant bushes - 60 days.
Safety
Insecticides "Iskra" in terms of toxicity belong to class 3 (low toxicity) for humans and animals. For bees - highly toxic preparations (class 1), therefore, they cannot be used in gardens and pastures during the flowering period of trees and grasses.
For safe work, wear tight clothing that covers the body, a respirator with a filter, plastic goggles and thick rubber gloves. Do not remove protective equipment during the entire duration of work.
After it is over, wash your hands and face with soap, neutralize clothes in a weak solution of soda and rinse in clean water. If splashes get on the skin, wash them off with water, if the solution gets into the eyes, also rinse them with plenty of water. If insecticide is ingested, flush with activated charcoal. Seek medical attention if condition worsens.
How does the Iskra insecticide work together with other drugs
Spark can be mixed with non-alkaline insecticides and fungicides. "Iskra Bio" or "Akarin", as a biological product, can be mixed with "Albit", "Fitoverm", as well as humates, colloidal sulfur, growth stimulants, such as "Epin" and "Zircon". Such mixtures protect vegetables well from diseases and pests.
If the application features are not indicated, when mixing, you need to take the average volume allowed by the dosage, dissolve the substances one by one, after the previous one is completely dissolved. Do not mix more than 2 products in one solution.
Storage rules
"Iskra" preparations are stored for 2 years, in original packaging or tightly closed vials. Storage conditions: dry, dark and ventilated room, at a temperature of -10 to +30 °C. Do not stack food, household items, medicines, livestock feed nearby.You can save nearby other pesticides, agrochemicals and fertilizers.
After the expiration date, insecticides should be discarded. Diluted with water, do not store for longer than 1 day - the solution loses its working properties during long-term storage.
