Growing

Polessky garlic is a winter variety, that is, you need to take care of planting in the fall.Such varieties are usually larger and more valuable than spring ones. The whole process can be divided into three stages: seed preparation, soil preparation and, directly, planting. We will cover each stage in detail now.

First step: seed preparation

To achieve maximum taste and yield, preparation should begin ten days before planting. First, soak the cloves in a special preparation, which can be found in horticultural departments and stores. This drug will provide initial immunity to garlic, protect it from parasites, rot and fungi immediately after planting. After 2-3 hours, take it out and lay it out at some distance from each other on a newspaper to dry.

Those who constantly live in the country or in a private house will find it convenient to spread newspapers on the veranda, and city dwellers can use the balcony, or secluded places where pets cannot reach.

Over the next ten days, it is important to maintain the temperature no higher than fifteen degrees and low humidity, this is necessary for the garlic to get used to the temperature regime. Ready-to-plant teeth should be dry, without traces deterioration, mold or other imperfections.

Second stage: soil preparation

Third stage: disembarkation
