Methods of making orange compote

Among the recipes you can find both very simple versions and quite complex ones. But you can choose the option that you like the most.

Easy winter recipe

To stock up on a he althy drink for the winter, you can cook it according to a recipe called “Bulgarian compote”. It turns out saturated, concentrated, so many people prefer to add carbonated water to it before drinking.

The following items will be required:

  • oranges - 2 pieces;
  • lemon - 1 piece;
  • sugar - 2 cups.

Cooking algorithm:

  1. Oranges must be peeled - not only the peel is removed, but also the seeds, partitions, fibers.
  2. Cut them into circles.
  3. Sugar is poured with 2 glasses of water.
  4. Juice is squeezed out of a lemon and added to sugar syrup.
  5. The resulting mixture is sent to the stove until boiling.
  6. Put pieces of citrus into the boiling composition and let it boil again.
  7. Slices are removed, laid out in prepared containers.
  8. Syrup boils for another 15 minutes, then oranges are poured over it.
  9. Banks roll up immediately.

Pumpkin compote with orange

These two ingredients make a beautiful fortified compote, it is best to take musky varieties of pumpkin. To get a 3-liter jar of compote, you need the following:

  • oranges - 3 pieces;
  • sugar - 1 cup;
  • pumpkin pulp - 400g

Prepare jars and lids before cooking:

  1. Pumpkin is peeled and diced.
  2. Sugar is poured with 2 liters of water, sent to a slow fire.
  3. Vegetable pieces are added to the syrup, the mixture is boiled for 15 minutes.
  4. 1 citrus is used for juice and zest, the last component is ground with 3 tbsp. l. sugar.
  5. The rest of the fruit is peeled and the flesh is cut into cubes.
  6. They are placed in pumpkin syrup and boiled for about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Fresh juice is poured into the compote and left on the stove for 3 minutes.
  8. The drink taken from the fire is immediately poured and rolled up.

Orange and lemon compote

Ingredients:

  • oranges - 2 kg;
  • lemons - 0.5 kg;
  • sugar - 0.9 kg;
  • flower honey - 200 g;
  • water - 4.5 l.

Citrus drink is easy to make, just watch how it's done step by step:

  • zest is cut from citrus fruits, veins and seeds are removed;
  • the pulp is cut into pieces and placed in sterilized containers;
  • sugar is poured with water, the syrup is boiled for 10 minutes;
  • zest is added to it and boiled for a quarter of an hour;
  • the syrup is filtered and pieces of fruit are poured into it;
  • after 15 minutes the syrup is returned to the pot, honey is added and boiled for 10 minutes;
  • jars are filled with the resulting liquid and sealed.

Redcurrant compote with orange

To cook 3 liters of compote, you will need:

  • red currant -1 l;
  • orange - 1/2 pc.;
  • sugar - 350 g;
  • water.

The recipe is simple:

  1. Pure berries and fruit pulp, cut into circles, are laid out in jars.
  2. Pour boiling water over jars and leave for 5 minutes
  3. The liquid is drained, sugar is added and the syrup is brought to a boil.
  4. Jars are filled with hot liquid, immediately rolled up and turned upside down.

Cranberry and orange compote

For 3 liters you will need:

  • cranberries - 300 g;
  • oranges - 2 pieces;
  • sugar - 1 tbsp;
  • water - 3 l.

Compote is prepared according to the following algorithm:

  • juice is squeezed out of berries and fruit pulp, combined;
  • a pan is placed on the stove, 3 liters of water are poured into it, berry and citrus cake are added;
  • the mixture is boiled for 5 minutes, then juice is poured into it and boiled for 3 minutes;
  • the compote is cooled and filtered.

Kiwi and orange compote

Components:

  • apples and oranges - 1 each;
  • kiwi - 2 pcs;
  • sugar - 150 g;
  • water - 2 l.

The cooking recipe is as follows:

  1. Fruits should be washed and cut into rings, if you do not like the taste of zest, then it is better to peel oranges.
  2. A container of water is placed on the stove, after it boils, sugar is added and boiled for a couple of minutes.
  3. Put fruit into the syrup, leave to boil and turn off the stove.
  4. Compote remains only to cool and you can enjoy a delicious drink.

Orange and cinnamon compote

This recipe is good for cool weather - it warms, it smells of comfort, it is suitable for family evenings and even holidays. You will need the following items:

  • orange - 1 piece;
  • sugar - 60 g;
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp;
  • water - 1 tbsp

Cooking method:

  1. Citruses are peeled, cut into half circles.
  2. The peel is peeled of white fibers, the zest is cut into strips.
  3. Water is brought to a boil, cinnamon, zest, sugar are put in it.
  4. The drink is brewed for 10-12 minutes and filtered.
  5. Pieces of oranges are placed in glasses, poured with warm syrup, and the drink is infused.
