Cordus Plus is a post-emergence herbicide of systemic and selective activity. Used to control all weeds in corn crops. Composition, purpose and dosage form of Cordus Plus

The selective systemic herbicide Cordus Plus is produced under license from the American company DuPont at production facilities built in Russia.

This product has three active ingredients at once: dicamba, nicosulfuron, rimsulfuron. Three-component herbicide used to kill all dicotyledonous and grassy weeds in corn crops.

The drug has the form of water-soluble granules. Sold in plastic jars weighing 440 grams. Before use, the herbicidal agent is dissolved in water according to the instructions.

Aqueous solution irrigates corn crops only once a season.

Kordus Plus destroys those weeds that have already sprouted. The sooner the treatment is carried out, the better the result. This drug does not affect the corn itself.

Working principle

The herbicide is absorbed by the leaves and roots of weeds and spreads to all organs.3-4 hours after treatment, cell division stops, the plant stops growing and slowly begins to wither. After 3-5 days, the first visible signs of the herbicide action appear - necrosis and chlorosis. Completely the plant dies in 2-3 weeks. The herbicide does not affect the corn itself.

How to properly prepare the working mixture

Herbicide solution for irrigation is prepared in the dosages indicated in the instructions. For spraying the field, fine-dispersion sprayers are used. First prepare the matrix solution. Measure the right amount of the drug and dissolve it in water in a small plastic container.

Then the sprayer tank is half filled with water. Then the stirrer is turned on and the matrix solution is poured.After that, the stirrer is stopped, the required amount of water is added and the mixture is stirred again. The working solution is prepared on the day of irrigation. The remains of the mixture are not stored, but poured outside the agricultural land.

How to use ready-made solution

Cordus Plus preparation can be used for corn, which goes to grain, oil or green mass. The herbicide destroys annual dicots in the phase of 1-4 leaves, as well as young rosettes of perennial dicots and couch grass (10-15 centimeters high). The corn itself should have 2-6 leaves.

Herbicide should be applied with surfactant Trend (200 ml/ha), which improves the wetting of weeds with a solution and increases herbicidal activity.

Cordus Plus herbicide is not recommended for weeds that are wet with dew or rain, stressed by drought, temperature extremes, poor nutrition, disease or insects.On the night before irrigation, the temperature should not fall below 10 degrees Celsius. You can not spray the fields if the daytime temperature has risen above 25 degrees Celsius. After treating the field with herbicide, inter-row cultivation can be carried out only after 1-2 weeks.

Use safety

While working with the herbicide solution, safety measures must be observed. The person carrying out the processing of the field must wear a protective suit, mask or respirator, rubber boots and gloves. You can not inhale vapors, drink the solution.
