The size of livestock depends on many reasons. First of all, the breed, age and general he alth of the animals are taken into account.But even in this case, the calculations will be approximate, because kids are born of different sizes, and their further development also happens in different ways.

The most common breed of dairy goats by the time they grow up is gaining carcass weight up to 50 kilograms. But there are varieties of pets that exceed the mark of 80-90 kilograms. Accordingly, the development of babies in these breeds occurs according to different criteria. To find out the monthly weight gain, animals are weighed or measured based on specially compiled tables. Being underweight or overweight is a sign of poor diet, serious illness or injury that increases the risk of animal death.

At the age of 2, the animal is gaining growth almost twice. After the third year of growth and development, weight gain is sharply reduced and ranges from 2 to 6 kilograms annually.
