"Mastiet Forte" is a Dutch-made medicine successfully used to treat small pets from inflammation of the udder. The instructions for use of "Mastiet forte" for goats also say that the drug is successfully used for the treatment of carnivores from dermatitis and otitis media, in the pathogenesis of which various pathogens are encountered. Pharmacological properties

Combined action includes anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects. The composition includes antibiotics of various spectrums of action. The drug is directed against the activity of bacteria of the genera Streptococcus, Klebsiella and Escherichia coli.

Tetracycline and neomycin in the composition of the drug penetrate the bacterial wall and inhibit protein synthesis, causing the death of the pathogen. Bacitracip interferes with the production of peptidoglycan, which is necessary for the construction of the cell wall, and prednisone has anti-allergic properties, making it easier for the animal to accept the drug.

The drug is stored in the tissues of the breast up to a day. "Mastiet forte" is low-toxic and does not harm the animal's body.

Indications

Most often "Mastiet forte" is used for the treatment of chronic and acute mastitis in large and small ruminants, including goats. It can also be used for males in case of balanoposthitis - inflammation of the glans penis. The body of carnivores responds well to treatment with the drug in case of dermatitis or otitis media of bacterial etiology.

Instructions for using "Mastiet Forte" for goats

One tube of medicine - for one application. The udder must be clean. All milk must be milked from the udder before use. The nipple is cleaned of dirt and milk residues. After that, the cap is removed from the tube and the medicine is injected into the affected quarter of the udder, carefully injecting the suspension. After removing the syringe, the nipple is pinched with fingers and gently massaged. The optimal periods between the administration of the drug is 24 hours, you need to enter 3 days in a row to complete the full course of treatment. The milk obtained during the course of treatment must not be eaten or fed to other animals.

If only part of the udder is affected, milk from the unaffected part can be fed to dogs or cats. The meat of slaughtered animals should also not be eaten if 3 days have not passed since the end of therapy.

People who administer the drug should not smoke, drink or eat during the procedure.Apply the medicine only with clean, pre-washed hands. It is advisable to check with employees if they have an allergic reaction to one of the components of Mastiet Forte. Storage conditions

The drug is stored only in the official packaging, in a dark and cool place, protected from ultraviolet radiation. It is not allowed to store the medicine together with food or feed. Analogues

If the use of the drug is not possible, "Mastiet" is replaced by two effective analogues - "Mastinon Forte" or "Mastomycin".The composition of the first drug includes antibiotics gentamicin and clindamycin, which have an antibacterial effect. "Mastomycin" contains oxytetracycline and neomycin, which affect the pathogenic microflora and cause the death of pathogens within 3 days from the start of therapy.
