Tomatoes Loving Heart and Red Oil Heart: characteristics and description of the variety, yield with photo

Heart-shaped tomatoes are traditionally popular with summer residents because they have a rich taste, pleasant shape and, as a rule, large sizes. For many years, the Bullish Heart variety remained the champion among them, but the selection does not stand still, and new hybrids with improved characteristics regularly appear. These include Loving Heart Red Tomato and Red Butter Heart.

Loving heart

Description of the tomato variety Loving Heart characterizes it as a large powerful plant that produces large fleshy fruits weighing up to a kilogram. There is a high yield per bush - up to five brushes of 5-7 fruits.

The taste of the fruit is delicate and pleasant, slightly sour, with a noticeable sweetness, the tomato, due to its characteristic aroma, gives the dishes a richer taste. The walls are quite thick and soft, granular, the peel is thin. Tomatoes are good for use in salads, for preparations for the winter, squeezing juice.

The variety was bred by Ural breeders, therefore it is ideally adapted to the climatic conditions of the Middle Urals. Agrotechnology involves sowing seeds in mid-spring (March-April) to a depth of a centimeter. After the appearance of a pair of true leaves, it is recommended to make a pick, and harden off a week before planting in the ground.

Planting in the ground is done in June, when the spring frosts have passed, at a distance of about 30 centimeters between the bushes. The plant should have already formed enough normal leaves and started flowering. Tomatoes of the Loving Heart red variety can be planted in the greenhouse as early as April-May.

Watering is carried out as it dries with warm water under the root of the plant, regular fluffing improves the supply of oxygen to the roots and, accordingly, the yield. During the entire growing season, it is desirable to add top dressing for good fruiting. The largest amount of fruit can be removed if two stems are left on the plant.

Oil heart

Tomato variety Red Butter Heart is mid-season and high-yielding. It was bred for cultivation in the conditions of the middle zone and is maximally adapted to its climatic features.

The plant is tall, up to two meters, forms several clusters of 4-5 fruits per cluster, which ripen gradually. The tomato is heart-shaped, densely packed with granular flesh with few seeds. The mass of fruits is from 300 to 700 grams. Productivity with proper care leaves more than five kilograms from one bush.

Fruits can be used in salads and hot dishes, for canning and juicing. Juicy pulp has a pleasant sweet taste and characteristic aroma.

Agrotechnology of the Red Oil Heart variety is similar to the Loving Heart variety and involves sowing seeds for seedlings in March, followed by planting already formed plants with flowering tassels into the ground. The planting density is about three plants per square meter. For top dressing, traditional means are used, which are applied throughout the growing season.
