Tomato Novosibirsk hit f1 was a successful result of Siberian breeding experiments and appeared relatively recently. The variety belongs to the category of tomato with an average ripening period. The plant is able to reach growth from 1 to 1.5 meters, therefore, when grown, it needs to be tied up. The seedlings can be grown outdoors and in greenhouses.

Tomato fruits are large and can reach 500 grams. With proper care, up to 7 kilograms of crop can be removed from one plant. Tomatoes have a characteristic rounded shape of a bright red color.Reviews of gardeners indicate that the fruits have a unique sugary taste. The pulp contains a small amount of seeds, and in the process of use, a fragrant tomato smell is felt. Good palatability combined with excellent storage and transportability.

Pros and cons

No significant shortcomings were found in the cultivation of the variety. Gardeners say that the key to harvesting a high yield is compliance with all the rules of agricultural technology. The virtues of a tomato are:

  • high resistance to traditional tomato diseases;
  • ability to show high yields when grown outdoors;
  • preservation of taste and appearance during storage;
  • good stress tolerance in case of temperature drop.

Features of cultivation

The plant is grown by seedling method. Seeds for growing in garden plots are sold in small paper bags. Sowing planting material of the Novosibirsk hit tomato is carried out in such a way that from 60 to 70 days pass before planting in a permanent place. Recommended before direct planting in the soil:

  • sort to exclude defective seeds;
  • soak in a damp cloth soaked in manganese solution for 20 minutes.

Seeds are sown in a container so that between them there is a distance of at least 3 cm to a depth of 2 cm. The container is covered with a film, which can be removed after germination. When shoots reach 35 cm, the presence of 10 leaves and a developed root system, seedlings can be planted in a permanent place.

Growing is done at an ambient temperature of 23-25 C. The plant is demanding on lighting, so seedlings need sunlight for at least 14-16 hours a day. Picking is carried out when 2 leaves appear.

When planting in permanent soil, it is recommended to plant 2 to 3 seedlings per 1 m2. Tomato loves lighted places and does not tolerate the presence of drafts. The soil for planting should be light and fertile. A good yield is achieved if cucumbers, onions, carrots, cabbage or zucchini were previously grown at the planting site.

The plant responds well to moderate watering and heavy fertilizing with complex mineral fertilizer. The bush is formed in 1 or 2 stems with a mandatory garter of trunks. Obtaining large fruits contributes to the mechanical regulation of the number of brushes and tomatoes. To improve the setting and healing of the plant, the use of growth stimulants is recommended.Care consists in sufficient watering, fertilizing and regular removal of stepchildren.
