Tomato Voskhod was the result of research and experience of Russian scientists. The variety is included in the Gardens of Russia collection, which includes new promising species and the most productive horticultural crops.

Sunrise, or as gardeners often call it Dawn, refers to hybrid species of medium ripening. From the moment the first shoots appear to the ripening of the first tomato, 90 days pass.

The description refers the plant to a determinate species, which is characterized by compactness and moderate formation of a mass of greenery. The average height of the bush reaches 60-80 cm.Leaf plates have a simple structure and a characteristic green color. The variety belongs to the universal types of tomatoes, as it is suitable for growing in open ground, in greenhouse conditions, under film and even in flowerpots.

The manufacturer recommends growing the plant in one or two bushes.

Fruit characteristics

Tomato pulp is characterized by moderate density and juiciness, a small amount of seeds. Even long-term ripening tomatoes do not acquire excessive skin density.

Fruit Description:

  • tomatoes are medium in size;
  • the shape resembles the appearance of an egg;
  • ribbed stem;
  • The average weight of a tomato varies between 50-100 grams.

When grown in greenhouse conditions, fruit sizes can reach 200 grams. Characteristics of the palatability of the variety indicates the presence of a pleasant sweetish taste. Young vegetables have a light green color that turns deep red over time.

Voskhod tomatoes are suitable for whole canning. Due to the dense skin, which tolerates temperature effects well, the tomatoes do not crack and look aesthetically pleasing in a jar.

Tomatoes can be used to prepare various tomato-containing blanks:

  • sauces;
  • tomato puree;
  • juices;
  • soup dressings.

Harvested vegetables can be stored for a long time. Tomatoes can be cut unripe and left for further ripening in a warm room.

Disadvantages and advantages of the variety

The main and practically the only drawback is the inability to independently collect planting material. A hybrid variety is grown from seed, but the plant does not inherit the characteristics of the mother bush. Tomato Sunrise f1, according to gardeners, has the following advantages:

  • early ripening;
  • simultaneous reddening of the fruit, which allows for a one-time harvest;
  • excellent taste and aesthetic qualities of fruits;

  • ability to tolerate cold temperatures;
  • possessing good immunity, which provides protection against most tomato diseases.

Due to the early ripening period, tomato shoots rarely suffer from late blight.Experts say that, subject to all the rules of agricultural technology, from 3.4 to 4 kg of vegetables can be removed from one bush. Gardeners note stockiness and power of shoots, good yields, unpretentiousness of the plant to growing conditions.
