Talendo Fungicide: instructions for use, mechanism of action and consumption rate

"Talendo" - a new fungicide with instructions for combating fungal diseases. It is used for the vineyard against oidium, it is also effective for the apple tree against powdery mildew. The one-component composition with a long-term effect is characterized by good protection against diseases. It is used as a preventive measure and for the treatment of diseases.

Composition, purpose and release form

Consists of proquinazid at a concentration of 200g/l. It is produced by Dukon. The main purpose is the fight against the oidium of the vineyard. No less effective for other fungal diseases.

Produces as a concentrated emulsion. The volume of containers is different: 5 ml, 10 ml, 25 ml, 100 ml, 1l, 5l.

Important! For a small vineyard, 2-3 ampoules are enough for the whole season.

Mechanism of action of Talendo fungicide

"Talendo" stops the development of axospores and conidia of fungal bodies. The active substance penetrates into the tissues of grape leaves and creates a barrier for the penetration of fungal body parts into them. Thus, the development of pest appressories is suspended.

If the leaf has already been damaged, the fungicide stops the further course of the disease. Gradually, the plant is restored and cured. True, in this case, processing is carried out more often.

Pros and cons of funds

Means "Talendo" has its advantages and disadvantages. On the positive side, note:

• high efficiency;
• effect lasts 14 days;
• suitable for treatment and prevention;
• low consumption;
• not washable during rains.

Among the shortcomings, the presence of a hazard class for humans, water bodies and bees is distinguished. It also requires the use of precautions.

The drug remains on leaves and grapes for a long time, does not give in to rain and is completely removed in 14 days.

Consumption rate for various plants

For processing the vineyard, 0.175 l/ha of concentrated emulsion is used. In diluted form, 1000 liters of working solution are consumed per 1 hectare. For an apple tree, the consumption rate is the same. The tool is economical. To treat a large area, you need a small amount of the drug.

Preparation and use of working solution

In the instructions for use, which is located on the back of the package, the action of the fungicide and its consumption rate are described in detail in accordance with the name of the crop. Prepare the solution as follows:

1. The right amount of concentrate is poured into the working container.
2. Add 1/3 of the required amount of water.
3. Stir the solution with a wooden or glass rod.
4. During work, use a hood, rubber gloves and respiratory protection.

The use of a working solution has several rules:

• spraying is carried out with a spray gun;
• suitable for processing in the middle of the day, hot calm weather;
• it is forbidden to use Talendo if there is a pond or apiary nearby;
• do not eat or smoke while working;
• hair covered with a cap;
• put on rubberized shoes with closed toes;
• protect the respiratory tract with a mask or respirator, and eyes with transparent goggles;
• preferably put a rubber or cellophane apron on top of the clothes.

After finishing work, the container is washed with soapy water and soaked, the remnants of the mixture are disposed of, the clothes are washed after processing, take a shower.

Important! If you do not take precautions, you can get serious poisoning.

Fungicide toxicity level

For the Talendo fungicide, the 2nd class of toxicity to humans and waterfowl is distinguished. For bees 3rd class of danger. When using the drug near water bodies and apiaries, the death of insects and fish is possible.

Compatibility

Talendo is suitable for combination with other pesticides. It is mixed simultaneously with insecticides for preventive spring treatment. Pairs well with:

• cymoxanil;
• mancozeb;
• famoxadone;
• flusilazole;
• methomyl;
• lufenuron.

Preparations with such active ingredients can be combined with Talendo.

Storage

The remains of the drug are stored until the next season in a tightly closed container with a dense white wall. Choose a place inaccessible to children, pets. Do not store near food or medicines.

Working solution must be used up within 24 hours. Further, its effectiveness and effect are lost.

Analogues

There are no drugs with the same composition as Talendo. However, there are other multicomponent or monocomponent agents that have a detrimental effect on fungi.
