Composition and formulation of the insecticide
Mavrik is produced by Adama Rus in the form of an aqueous emulsion. As part of the active substance tau-fluvalinate in the amount of 240 g per 1 liter. According to the method of penetration, the drug belongs to intestinal and contact pesticides. The liquid is packaged in 1 liter plastic bottles.
This is an insecticidal and acaricidal agent from the class of pyrethroids. It has a fast acting and long lasting protective effect. Not harmful to beneficial insects and bees. It has a double effect on harmful ones - contact and intestinal. Mavrik is effective even at high air temperatures (up to 30 °C).
Mechanism of action and purpose
The active substance "Mavrika" enters the body of pests with food, breathing and through the covers. Violates the central nervous system, causing paralysis. The drug can fight Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Diptera, Homoptera and Orthoptera, bugs and mites.
Acaroinsecticide "Mavrik" is intended for the destruction of harmful insects and mites on fruit, vegetables, cereals, flax, grapes and pasture plants. In agriculture, the insecticide is used for the protective treatment of gardens, fields with vegetable and grain plants, vineyards.
You can notice the effect of the drug already 30 minutes after treatment. The duration of protection is 2-3 weeks, during this period pests do not appear.
How to prepare the working substance?
Prepare the drug solution in the same way as solutions of other pesticides. To do this, you first need to dilute the entire volume of the emulsion in 1/3 or 1/2 of the required volume of water. Stir to form a uniform concentration. Then pour the liquid into the sprayer tank and add the remaining water to it. Mix again. Standard sprayers are suitable for processing, which are used for processing most agricultural plants.
The volume of the insecticide solution should be such that it can be consumed all in 1 working day, because the solution cannot be stored. The rest after work should be poured onto the land that is not used for cultivating plants.
How to apply the product
Against pests, spraying with insecticide is carried out during the entire growing season of the crop, against locusts - during the development of larvae. Wild berries and mushrooms cannot be picked during the current season when processing wild plants.
The working fluid is consumed in the amount of 1000-1500 liters per hectare for apple trees, 800-1200 liters per hectare for grapes. For potatoes, cereals, flax and pastures, the consumption is 200-400 liters per ha. 2 treatments are carried out, a maximum of 3, the waiting period is 1 month.
Application rates (in liters per ha):
- apple tree - 0.8-1.6 from codling moth and 0.6-1.2 from ticks;
- grapes - 0.24-0.36;
- potatoes and pastures - 0.1;
- wheat, barley, rapeseed - 0.2;
- linen - 0.1-0.2.
Feature of "Maurica" - it can be used when the culture is in the flowering period.At the same time, it does not have a negative effect on bees and other honey-bearing insects. According to the instructions, it is low toxic to bees, recognized as non-toxic to these insects, if used in recommended doses. It is even used to kill the varroa mite in bee hives.
It is possible to process "Mavrik" in cool weather and in hot weather, its effectiveness does not decrease with temperature changes. The product is not washed off by rain, so re-treatment in case of rain is not required.
Precautions for use
Insecticide belongs to agricultural products with hazard class 3, both for humans and bees. It is toxic to aquatic organisms and therefore should not be used in fields, orchards and vineyards located near bodies of water. Insecticide treatment of fields and gardens by aerial method is allowed.
