Bifenthrin, like all substances from the class of pyrethroids, acts on the nervous system of pests. The destructive effect is manifested on insects at all stages of development: eggs, larvae and adults.

Symptoms of poisoning are similar to those of organochlorine drugs: first, the insects are in a strong state of excitement, then paralysis sets in. The substance disrupts metabolic processes in cell membranes. In addition to being insecticidal, bifenthrin has a repellent effect.

• greenhouse whitefly - 1.2-2.4;
• spider mite - 0.6-1.2;
• aphid - 0.4-0.8.

One-time treatment is carried out, 1000-3000 liters per ha are consumed for all crops. The waiting period for tomatoes is 3 days, for cucumbers - 5 days.

When applied to apple, cotton and grapes, Talstar also has an effect on mites, so its treatment can reduce the number of other acaricidal sprays.

Spray crops with a solution prepared before starting work. The death of insects lasts for 12 hours. The time of the protective action of the drug is 30-40 days.

Safety precautions when working with Talstar

The product has a hazard class for people - 2, which means moderately hazardous substances. For bees, the drug is poisonous, hazard class 1. It is forbidden to use the product in gardens during flowering and summer bees. You can not use "Talstar" in the area of reservoirs, fish farms and water sources.

Work with the Talstar solution and prepare it in thick protective clothing, put on gloves on your hands, and wear a respirator and goggles on your face to prevent the solution from getting into your eyes and nose. During spraying, do not smoke, eat or drink, remove personal protective equipment. Wash your face and hands with soap and water after work.

Features of drug storage

"Talstar" insecticide can be stored for 3 years in closed factory canisters. For storage, choose warehouses that contain pesticides and fertilizers. Do not stack food, feed, medical and household items nearby.Conditions for saving the drug - a dark, dry and ventilated room.

After the expiration of the shelf life, you need to replace the drug with a new one, discard the rest. The Talstar insecticide solution can only be used for 1 day. Then it becomes ineffective, it is not recommended to use it, so you need to dilute the product in the amount that is planned to be spent in 1 working day.
