How to open a cube container with honey: methods with and without a key, instructions

Anonim

To transport and store a large amount of honey, you can use containers made of various materials (wooden barrels, metal cans). Popular are special plastic containers that are inexpensive, weigh little, and are not difficult to care for. At the same time, the main issue in the operation of the container is: how to quickly open the cube container with honey. The easiest way is to remove the cover with special tools.

With a special key

An important advantage of a plastic container is a hermetically sealed lid that protects the contents from dust and prevents accidental opening of the container.The disadvantage of the cubotainer is the difficulty of uncorking. To open it without damaging the plastic, beekeepers use a special key.

The tool functions like a lever and the process takes several minutes.

  • The key is placed on top of the container so that the support tube is located diagonally relative to the contour.
  • Platform jaws grip the corner of the plastic container lid.
  • With a uniform effort, press the lever-handle of the key, gradually lifting all corners.

The device is made of galvanized or stainless steel.

Thanks to the carefully thought-out design of the key, it is convenient and quick to open dishes made of plastic and any polymers.

Opening with a bottle opener

It is advisable to have a special device if you constantly use cube containers. If the containers are rarely used, you can open them without a key. Various improvised items (screwdrivers, rope-braid) or kitchen appliances are used. The easiest way to remove the lid is with a regular can opener:

  • a larger blade is attached to the edge of the container (in the middle of the side) so that the cutting part is between the edge and the lid. Smoothly move the knife towards the corner of the box;
  • lift the lid slightly with the blade when moving along the rounded parts.
Next, move the opener along the contour of the container, slightly opening it in areas with corner roundings.

The service life of honey cube containers is at least 5 years if opened correctly. Pluses of containers - empty products can be stored like a "matryoshka", and filled closed containers are stacked on top of each other.
