Agricultural practices

The variety is recommended for growing in greenhouse conditions. In central Russia, it develops and bears fruit no worse, in open ground.

  • Sowing seeds is done 60-65 days before planting in the ground. It should be sown in lightly compacted specially prepared soil to a depth of 1 cm. It is recommended to sprinkle with a peat-soil mixture on top and cover with a film until the first shoots. The ideal temperature for seed germination is 25 degrees.
  • Young shoots need additional lighting, while the temperature should be reduced to 18-20 degrees. A week later, raise again to 22 degrees.
  • After the appearance of the first true leaves, the seedlings dive into separate pots.
  • A couple of weeks before transplanting, plants need to be hardened off.
  • When the grown bushes get the sixth real leaf and the first brush, then it's time to plant tomatoes for permanent residence. They can be transplanted into greenhouses from the beginning of May, and into open ground, preferably not earlier than the beginning of June, when the threat of frost has passed.
  • Tomato planting scheme - 30 x 50 cm.
  • As the bush grows, it needs to be formed into two stems, so it is necessary to carry out pinching in a timely manner.
  • During the growing season, tomatoes need additional nutrients, so you should regularly feed the tomatoes with complex mineral fertilizers.
  • You should also regularly water and loosen the soil.

Reviews

Elena:

Last summer I grew a tomato "Amber honey" in a greenhouse. The bushes were good, powerful, but the first brushes withered, and the subsequent ones did not produce many tomatoes. True, the fruits were large, more than 300 g. I planted this year, only now in open ground, I decided that it was too hot in the greenhouse.

Aleksey:

Tomato grew in OG. He got on well, did not get sick. Bushes higher than a meter never grew. But the harvest was worthy. Tomatoes are large, beautiful and delicious.

Svetlana:

Very tasty tomatoes. When you cut it, it feels like under the thin skin of a tomato, really, honey.

Alena:

This year I planted the Amber Honey tomato in the greenhouse. They are gaining growth well and the ovaries have already formed, only now the leaf is not potato, but ordinary. I even doubted whether I planted it. I'll see what grows.
