Tomato Emperor f1 or Empire Chu-Fu is the result of selection by Chinese scientists and belongs to tall varieties of early ripening fruit with good yield. The average time for obtaining the first harvest of fruits is from 95 to 100 days. The plant belongs to the indeterminate species and is distinguished by the high growth of bushes, the height of which reaches 1.8-2 meters.

A distinctive quality of the plant is the ability to easily endure temperature changes and frequent changes in weather conditions. Cultivation can be carried out both in outdoor conditions and in closed greenhouses.

View Benefits

Tomatoes have gained popularity due to the possibility of using them raw and in the preparation of blanks, thanks to the delicious sugary pulp, cooked dishes acquire a special taste. Variety benefits include:

  • good resistance to environmental changes;
  • ability to recover quickly from stress;
  • aesthetic appearance of large fruits;
  • ability to show high yields when grown in difficult climatic regions.

The plant is loved by gardeners because of its unpretentiousness to growing conditions and strong immunity to most tomato diseases. A small drawback is the exactingness to the composition and processing of the soil, the presence of minerals and fertilizers.

Features of fruits

The fruits of Emperor Chu Fu tomato are large, the weight of one tomato reaches 400 to 600 grams. Vegetables are distinguished by a rounded flat shape and a bright reddish color. There is a slight point at the bottom of the vegetable. During the final ripening period, some fruits are able to acquire a slight shade of yellowness.

Large fruits are able to acquire a slight ribbing. Reviews from gardeners in Ukraine and Russia indicate that the tomato has a watermelon flavor and aroma.

The variety compares favorably with high yields. On average, one bush is able to give up to 9 kg of tomatoes. Due to the dense, strong skin, the tomatoes do not crack, and are able to tolerate storage and transportation conditions well.

Features of care

The plant is grown in seedlings. Sowing is carried out in the second half of February.Seeds are recommended to be pre-prepared by keeping the planting material in a solution of 2.5 liters of warm water and a teaspoon of baking soda. For seeds, it is recommended to prepare the following soil composition:

  • 10 pieces of earth, including turf, sand, humus;
  • 50 grams of superphosphate;
  • 1 liter wood ash;
  • 50 grams of urea.

Growing is carried out at a temperature of 23-24 C, with a gradual decrease in temperature closer to the time of transplantation to a permanent place.

You can plant seedlings after reaching a height of 3 cm. Until the moment, planting is recommended to be done once every one week. More frequent watering can lead to the appearance of a black leg. The distance between each bush should be from 70 to 90 cm, and between rows 1-1.5 meters is enough.The first watering is carried out 7 days after planting, for which only warm water is used.

Due to their high growth, adult bushes need additional support in the form of tying.
