New from Dutch breeders - Rosalise tomato. The hybrid was tested on the fields of the Russian Federation, entered into the State Register. Rosalise F1 tomatoes are recommended to be grown outdoors. Due to the compactness of the bushes, productivity, resistance to diseases, the hybrid can be grown for sale.

Description

Tomato Rosaliz F1 mid-season, determinant type hybrid. Grow only seedlings. Fruit picking begins after 110-120 days. Bush description:

  • compact;
  • the number of leaves is average;
  • height 65-75 cm, in fertile soil with the use of mineral supplements - 1 m;
  • requires support, a garter and adjusting the number of stepchildren.

Yield 17 kg/sq. m with the recommended planting pattern of 6 bushes per square meter. A denser planting will lead to a decrease in the illumination of the above-ground part of the bushes, a decrease in the feeding area.

Fruits

Classic pink round fruits, slight ribbing may be observed. The peel is strong, not prone to cracking. Fruit size is average, weight 180-200 g. The pulp is dense, the taste depends on the quality of the soil. On light, fertile soils in good light, tomatoes grow with a sweeter and richer taste.

Use fruits for different purposes:

  • s alt;
  • pickle;
  • preparing sauces for the winter and as an addition to meat dishes;
  • used in slicing to decorate sandwiches and snacks;
  • include in summer vegetable salads.

Diseases and pests

Rosaliza has good immunity, like all Dutch hybrids. Summer residents may not be afraid of dangerous tomato diseases: fusarium, verticillium wilt, viral curl. You can protect bushes from other fungal diseases using standard preventive measures:

  • treatment of seeds before sowing with fungicide or manganese solution;
  • using he althy soil for growing seedlings;
  • use of complex fertilizers at all stages of growth;
  • when the weather worsens, support for immunity with leaf treatments using folk remedies (serum, boric acid, iodine) or proven store-bought drugs (HB-1, Epin).

On the Rosalise tomato forums

Natasha, Karaganda: “Dutch hybrids I soot for harvesting, they give a guaranteed harvest even in seasons with extremely bad weather. I planted 15 Rosalise bushes, did not spoil them with care. I didn’t experience any special enthusiasm for this novelty. The yield was not higher than that of varietal tomatoes. There was phytophthora on the bushes, there was also vertex rot. I did not like the taste, the color was also dirty pink. The average fruit weight is about 120-150 g, the height of the bushes is around 1 meter. In appearance, these are classic store-bought tomatoes with a round shape with a thick skin and no flavor.”

Olesya, Crimea: “Last season I planted several bushes of the Dutch tomato Rosalise for testing. I couldn't find any reviews about the hybrid, so I decided to try it myself. Bushes are compact, low. The fruits are smooth and beautiful. The yield is good. Seed germination 9 out of 10.”

Conclusion

It's worth planting a rose-fruited Dutch Rosalise hybrid in your garden. In any weather, you will be with the harvest. Rosalise is a good choice for market vendors and those who like to pickle and s alt tomatoes.
