The taste and quality of cucumbers largely depend on the brine. For him, you need to prepare a bunch, consisting of several fragrant cherry twigs, fresh horseradish leaves and dill stalks.

Required Ingredients

To implement the traditional recipe for making delicious country-style cucumbers for the winter, you will need the following set of ingredients:

  • fresh cucumbers (from 3 to 5 kilograms);
  • sea or table s alt;
  • dill sprigs;
  • leaves of oak, cherry, currant and horseradish - to taste;

Then pour the rest of the brine evenly into jars up to the very neck and close with sterilized reliable lids.

  1. The average shelf life of pickles is 8 months. However, this is only possible under conditions of temperature from -1° to +4 °С and air humidity in the range of 80-90%.
  2. It is not recommended to keep pickles at temperatures above +10 °C.
  3. Preservations that have not been cooked are stored for one week at an air temperature of less than +17 degrees.
  4. Optimal storage locations are a cellar or attic (in a private house), a balcony and a pantry (in an apartment).
  5. When storing preservation, do not allow an increase in air temperature, as this will lead to acidification of the solution and the growth of dangerous bacteria.
