Prishans Herbicide: instructions for use, mechanism of action and consumption rates

Prishans is a two-component herbicide, which, according to the instructions for use, is used to control annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds. The drug has systemic and selective activity. The herbicide is recommended for post-emergence treatment of crops in the early stages of weed growth.

Composition and release form of herbicide Prishance

This herbicide contains the following active substances: 2,4-D (2-ethylhexyl ether) and florasulam. The drug is in the form of a suspension emulsion.The Prishance herbicide is manufactured in China, the Russian registrant company is Chance LLC. Sold in 5 liter plastic cans.

Spectrum and mechanism of action

Prishans is used to control broadleaf weeds. Plants that the herbicidal agent fights: chamomile, thistle, ragweed, bedstraw, chickweed, wormwood, euphorbia and others. Spraying the field is carried out in the early stages of weed growth.

The herbicide penetrates through the leaves and roots into the weed and acts at the cellular level. A couple of hours after irrigation, weeds stop growing. The first noticeable signs of wilting appear after 2-4 days. Plants curl and turn pale. Fully weeds die in 1-2 weeks.

1. For cereals: 0.4-0.6 l/ha.

3. For winter barley: 0.4-0.5 l/ha.
4. For millet: 0.3-0.5 l/ha.

How to prepare a working solution?

Working mixture is prepared on the day of use. A tractor sprayer is used to spray the field with a herbicide. Its tank is 1/3 filled with clean, free of impurities water. With the agitators turned on, the required rate of herbicide is poured. Then the required amount of water is added to the sprayer tank and the solution is mixed well. It is advisable not to turn off the agitator during field work.

Instructions for using the ready mix

Herbicidal solution is used in the phase of 3-5 leaves (during the tillering period) of the main crop, in the early stages of weed growth. Winter crops are sprayed in spring. Field processing is carried out after the emergence of the main crop, only once per season.

Weeds are best sprayed in the phase of 2-6 leaves, at a height of 5-10 centimeters, in the rosette stage, before stalking begins.

In case of severe infestation and the predominance of overgrown weeds, the maximum dosage of the drug consumption is applied.The herbicide is not recommended if the main crop has been affected by frost, drought, poor nutrition, disease, insects. The optimum temperature for field irrigation is between 8 and 25 degrees Celsius.

Herbicide Handling Precautions

Working with Prishance herbicide is allowed for persons who do not have medical contraindications. While spraying the field, a person must wear a protective suit, a respirator, rubber boots and gloves. After completing field work, it is recommended to wash your hands and face with warm water (with soap), and also rinse your mouth with a soda solution. Do not inhale the vapors or drink the herbicidal mixture.

Drug toxicity

Prishans refers to 2 and 3 toxicity classes. The drug is not poisonous to humans, animals, fish, birds, beneficial insects. It is not recommended to spray the field during the active summer of bees. It is forbidden to irrigate cereals in nature protection zones.The drug quickly decomposes in the soil and does not accumulate in groundwater.

Compatibility with other products

Prishans Herbicide can be used in conjunction with other pesticides, as well as with insecticides and fungicides. It is not recommended to mix the drug with humates. All chemicals should be tested for compatibility before use.

Expiration date and storage conditions

Prishans is recommended to be stored in accordance with the standards developed for pesticides. A separate warehouse is allocated for the storage of this herbicide. It is recommended to keep the pesticide separately from products and goods. The optimum storage temperature is between 5 and 20 degrees Celsius.

Must use before the expiration date. Undiluted in tightly closed original packaging, the herbicide can be stored for 3 years from the date of manufacture.
