The drug includes the following components:

  1. Calcium gluconate (basic substance). Relieves swelling, stops bleeding, compensates for the lack of calcium in the body, has a sedative effect.
  2. Boric acid. Has an antiseptic effect. With its help, they treat wounds and other skin lesions, eliminate inflammation. At the same time, the substance does not provoke irritation of mucous surfaces.
  3. Sodium tetraborate. Has an antibacterial effect.
  4. Water.

The use of the drug in the appropriate dosages of the veterinary recommendations does not lead to such consequences as:

Before injecting the drug, it must be warmed up to 35-36 degrees. Injection methods:

  • intravenous (fluid given gradually);
  • subcutaneously (it is advisable to divide the dosage into parts and inject the medicine in different places);
  • IM (not recommended as it provokes allergies).

Manipulations are performed once. If necessary, the agent is administered again the next day in the same amount. The missed dose cannot be made up by a double amount - it is enough to resume therapy, and as soon as possible.

For all animals, the order of application is the same:

  1. Dose is calculated according to the rule: 0.5 milliliters per kilogram of body weight. The maximum dosage for goats is 50-100 milliliters.
  2. Heating the injection liquid up to 37 degrees.
  3. Administration of the drug intravenously or subcutaneously.

Dosage, frequency of use in each case are determined individually and depend on the type of disease and its stage.

Together with the drug, other drugs are used (except for tetracycline antibiotics and cardiac glycosides), vitamin complexes, feed additives.

Contraindications and side effects
