Active ingredient and formulation

Apollo is a selective contact action acaricide, the manufacturer produces it in the form of a suspension concentrate. The formula of the drug contains the active compound clofentezin in the amount of 500 g per 1 liter. The suspension is poured into canisters of 1 and 5 liters.

How the tool works and what it is used for

"Apollo" is intended for the destruction of spider mites, red fruit mites. Cultivated crops: fruit, grapes, strawberries and hops. The tool destroys pests in the early stages of development and eggs, but does not control adult mites. Acaricide does not harm beneficial predatory mites and insects, which can also be on plants at the time of treatment. Has a long-lasting effect - within 1 month after processing.

Instructions for the use of the drug "Apollo"

Apple, grapes, hops and strawberries can be sprayed during the growing season. Consumption rate for these crops:

apple tree - 0.4-0.6;
grapes - 0.24-0.36;
strawberries - 0.2-0.4.

For hops, the consumption depends on the height of the plants:

2-3 m - 0.8 liters per ha, 500 liters of liquid should be spent per hectare;
4-5 m - 1.6 l per ha (1000 l);
5-6 m - 2.4 l per ha (1500 l);
6-7 m - 3.2 liters per ha (2000 liters).

For each hectare with strawberries, you need to spend 400 liters of mortar, in apple orchards and vineyards - 600-1500 liters per hectare.

Solution "Apollo" pink, clearly visible on the leaves. The liquid is not absorbed by the leaves, the drug is most effective with uniform distribution and wetting of the leaves. Leaf surfaces should be completely moistened; on apple trees, the bark should also be sprayed. The solution only remains effective for the day it was made.

Grape vines are sprayed in early spring, during bud swelling, apple trees are also sprayed in early spring, until generations of mites begin to appear, that is, no later than the onset of the green cone stage.Strawberry bushes are sprayed prophylactically before flowering, hops - also in the spring, before the appearance of a new generation of pests.

Treat Apollo plants 1 time, if you repeat the treatment, this can lead to mites becoming addicted to clofentezin. To prevent this from happening, acaricide is combined with other means.

In LPH "Apollo" can also be used for spraying apple trees and grapes. Concentration - 4 ml per 10 liters, consumption - 2-5 liters per plant. Multiplicity of processing - 2, waiting period for apple trees - 30 days, for grapes - 60 days.

Insecticide Safety

"Apollo", like many pesticides, belongs to agricultural preparations with the 3rd hazard class. It has low toxicity to humans, but despite this, to minimize the possibility of poisoning, it is necessary to work by preparing a solution and spraying plants in protective tight clothing, gloves, goggles and a respirator.Do not take them off during work, do not smoke, eat or drink.

First aid

During operation, you need to try so that the liquid does not get on the skin, face, eyes, respiratory tract. If this happens, rinse the skin, eyes, throat with clean warm water. Rinse eyes for 15 minutes. If signs of intoxication appear - nausea, weakness, dizziness - you need to drink activated charcoal in an amount of 1 g per 10 kg of weight, drink it with water and after 15 minutes. artificially induce vomiting. If self-care is ineffective, seek medical attention immediately.

Compatibility with other products

"Apollo" can be combined with insecticides, except those that give an alkaline reaction, and those that contain copper or sulfur. Can be combined with growth regulators. Despite the good compatibility, each time a new drug and Apollo are mixed, it must be checked whether there will be an undesirable reaction.To do this, you must first stir a small amount of each product in a common bowl. If no chemical reaction occurs, they are compatible.

Terms and conditions of storage

Apollo acaricide can be stored in warehouses with fertilizers and pesticides for 2 years, starting from the day of production. The warehouse should be dry and dark, the temperature is allowed from -15 to +25 ˚С. Medicines, household products and animal feed should not be kept near the acaricide. It is necessary to limit access to the pesticide to children and animals.

After the savings period ends, the acaricidal agent must be discarded, as it becomes unusable. Do not store the prepared solution, it is suitable for use only 1 day after preparation. Unused acaricidal liquid residues must be poured into a place that will not be used for growing agricultural plants.

Analogues

Apollo acaricide has no analogues for clofentezin, but plants can be treated with specific acaricides that have a selective effect on mites. These are Flumite, Neoron, Nissoran, Omite, Ortus, Sunmite. They contain different substances, have different dosage and solution consumption.

Apollo destroys early stages and eggs of mites on apple trees, strawberry beds, vines and hops. It has a low consumption, so it is economically consumed. To increase the effectiveness of the acaricide solution, it must be correctly applied to the leaves, which must be wet on both sides. Treatments are carried out 1 or 2 times, in the spring, before bud break and before the hatching of the winter generation of ticks.
