If you don’t want to take risks, you can feed the ducklings from 0 to 10 days a weak solution of potassium permanganate.

In the basic scheme of drinking, antibiotics alternate with vitamins, the course of administration lasts 15 days. On the first day of life, ducks receive glucose and a vitamin preparation, then they drink an antibiotic solution for 2-5 days. Then, from the 5th to the 8th day, again vitamins and a complex of mineral elements, and on the 14th and 15th days - again bactericidal agents.

After the end of the course of antibacterial prophylaxis, the chicks should be given probiotics, which will normalize the intestinal microflora. After that, the preparation of ducklings for rearing can be considered completed.
