Organic farming is gaining more and more supporters and fans. Biofertilizers are used to improve soil he alth and increase yields. "Nitragin" carry out pre-sowing treatment of seeds of legumes. It is the beneficial bacteria contained in the preparation that increase the fertility of the soil, improve nutrition and the overall development of plants.

Composition and formulation of the bacterial preparation

"Nitragin" is produced in liquid form, packaged in containers with volumes of 2, 3, 4 liters. The drug belongs to bacterial fertilizers, but does not contain standard nutrients.The active elements are soil microorganisms, which, when they enter the soil, help improve the nutrition of the root system of plants and enhance biochemical processes.

According to the standard, 1 g of the product contains nodule bacteria that promote the development of lupine, soybeans, peanuts (approximately 70 million cells) and other legumes (approximately 300 million cells).

Mechanism and area of use

Bacterial preparation "Nitragin" - fertilizer for leguminous crops. The essence of the action of bacteria: penetrating into the root hairs of plants, the cells secrete a mucous substance that stretches into peculiar threads. Thanks to these infectious threads, bacteria go deep into the roots and multiply intensively. At the same time, special nodules are formed on the roots. Developing in nodules, bacteria bind atmospheric nitrogen, facilitating its efficient assimilation by plants.

Bacterial fertilizer benefits:

  • promotes the accumulation of nitrogen in the earth;
  • increased protein content in crops;
  • nitrogen is evenly distributed in all phases of plant development;
  • The yield of leguminous plants is increasing.

The main plus is that bacterial fertilizers are an environmentally friendly alternative to mineral nitrogen supplements.

Instructions for the use of fertilizer

When using and preparing the working solution of a biological product, it is important to follow the manufacturer's recommendations:

  • the desired part of the product is diluted with a small amount of water at room temperature;
  • fill the spray tank a third with water and pour the fertilizer solution, stirring constantly;
  • the container is completely filled with water.

Small amount of seeds can be sprayed by mixing by hand. It is advisable to process a significant amount of seed material in special seed dressing machines. It is recommended to prepare the working solution directly on the day of sowing or the day before (but not later than one day before sowing).

Precautions

When using "Nitragin" do not allow sunlight to hit the biological product, seed. Therefore, it is recommended to process seeds indoors or in covered areas. It is advisable to cover the seed with a tarpaulin during transportation.

Biofertilizers are harmless to humans, animals and insects. However, it is recommended to use standard protective measures when preparing the working solution and handling the inoculum. Put on personal protective equipment (respirator, goggles, gloves, protective suit).

Storage rules

For storage of bacterial fertilizer, a dry, well-ventilated room should be allocated. Recommended temperature range: from 1-2 °С to 10 °С, freezing and thawing of the fertilizer is not allowed. The biological product also loses its useful qualities at air temperatures above 30 °C.

It is not allowed to store "Nitragin" in a room with volatile pesticides (formalin or others). Useful qualities of "Nitragin" are stored for 9 months from the date of manufacture.

Are there any analogues?

Manufacturers of biofertilizers produce a wide range of preparations intended for the treatment of seeds of legumes. The following tools are popular:

  • "Rizophos" - serves as an excellent replacement for nitrogen and phosphorus mineral fertilizers, helps to provide legumes with phosphorus and nitrogen;
  • "Risotorfin" is produced on the basis of sterile peat. Plants retain the ability to obtain nitrogen from the air throughout the growing season due to pre-sowing seed treatment.

Bacterial fertilizers can be used for pre-sowing seed treatment; also, preparations are directly applied to the ground. As a rule, the effectiveness of funds increases when they are combined with organic fertilizers or mineral additives.

The use of biofertilizers allows you to harvest organic vegetables from the site. Thanks to the regular use of preparations containing soil microorganisms, it is possible to improve and restore even poor soils.
