Hot-rolled jars can last up to a year at room temperature in a dark place. After opening or when darkening, the container is moved to the refrigerator.

The cold method involves only a cool room. In the private sector, blanks are lowered into the basement or cellar. The temperature must be maintained around 0˚. At higher rates, such banks will stand idle for no more than a week.
