Features of harvesting sea buckthorn for the winter

It is very important to fully preserve the usefulness of the berry. It depends on the following nuances:

  2. Collection techniques. Ripe specimens soften, they need to be cut off carefully, trying not to crush the berry. Damaged sea buckthorn is covered with dust, dirt, resulting in deterioration of the workpiece.
  3. Grinding products. Before starting work, the raw materials are carefully sorted. All rotten, cracked fruits are discarded.
  4. Drying. Under the open sun, the berries will lose their usefulness.

Before picking berries, stock up with thick gloves, since there are thorns on the branch. It is advisable to wear a long sleeve shirt to avoid scratches.
