Alben for rabbits: composition and form of release, instructions for use

Anthelmintic "Alben" - a complex remedy for rabbits and other pets. The international name of the medicine for helminths is albendazole. The new generation drug is intended exclusively for oral use. To avoid possible problems, you must strictly adhere to the recommended dose indicated in the annotation.

Composition and formulation of the drug

Alben is produced in granules and packaged in plastic containers. Another form of release is tablets. In an aluminum blister there are 25 units of the drug, weighing 1.8 g each. In a carton there can be from 1 to 4 plates.Also, the product is hung in containers made of polymeric materials. 25, 50, 100 or 200 pressed pills are packed in one container.

Tableted "Alben" includes 360 mg of the active ingredient - albendazole. Additional components are:

The dosage of the anthelmintic is calculated according to the weight of the pet. Rabbits should be given 1 tablet 2 days in a row. "Alben", previously ground into flour, should be placed on the root of the animal's tongue, but it is more convenient to mix the medicine into food. It is recommended to test the reaction of a small group of rabbits to the veterinary drug if mass deworming is carried out.

If there are no side effects after taking for 2-3 days, you can start therapy for the entire livestock.

Side effects and contraindications

3. Suspension "Shustrik". For the purpose of prevention, the remedy is used 1 time in 3 months, for treatment it is used once.The drug is administered to each animal individually or mixed into food or drink. Pets must consume food and water within 24 hours. "Shustrik" effectively eliminates various types of parasitic worms.
4. "Albendazole". A fairly strong drug used when parasites have infected the rabbit's internal organs. The tool helps to get rid of not only worms, but also their larvae. Most animals tolerate this remedy well. Application is contraindicated in malnourished animals and pregnant females.
