Omite: instructions for use of an insecticide from a tick, dosage and analogues

Manufacturer "Omaita" - LLC "UPL" - manufactures acaricide in the form of an aqueous emulsion with the active substance propargit in the amount of 570 g per liter. It is a contact pesticide by mode of entry. The emulsion is poured into canisters of 1 l.

Working principle and scope

Action "Omaita" contact, destroys ticks in the stages of larvae, nymphs and adults. Does not work on eggs. The greatest efficiency is noted at t above 20 °C. Instructions for the use of the drug "Omite"

Application rate against ticks, in l per ha and consumption of the solution according to the instructions:

• apple tree - 1.5-2.2 (1000-1500);
• grapes - 1.2-1.6 (600-1000);
• soy - 1.3 (200-400);
• cherry - 0.9-1.2 (900-1200).

Dosage "Omite" for 10 liters of water - 10-15 ml.

Soybeans are sprayed 1 time, other crops - 2 times, the second - after the appearance of a new generation of pests. The waiting period for soybeans is 45 days, apple - 50, grapes - 60. You can work on the plots a week after processing.

Processing security measures

Hazard class of Omite for humans is 2nd (moderately toxic). Hazard class for bees 3rd (weakly dangerous).It can poison fish and aquatic life, so it should not be used near water bodies and fish farms. Insecticide compatibility

Acaricide "Omite" based on the substance of propargite should not be mixed in tank mixtures with drugs showing a pronounced alkaline reaction, and oil-containing products.

It is compatible with the rest, but to be completely sure, you need to test for possible incompatibility before mixing. To do this, you need to separate a little of both drugs, mix them separately in a container and check the reaction. When changing the structure, color, temperature, formation of sediment or lumps, the products must not be mixed.

Storage and shelf life

According to the manufacturer, "Omite" is stored for 3 years from the time of production. Store the drug in the original container with closed lids, in dry, dark rooms, at a moderate temperature. Next to the acaricide, you can keep agricultural products and various fertilizers. Do not store foodstuffs, feed, livestock and animal feed, household items.

Do not use expired Omite. The finished solution is not stored for a long time, it must be used within a day after preparation. Further, it loses its effectiveness.

Analogues of the drug

As for the active substance, "Omite" has an analogue - the drug "Tagmite", it contains propargite in the same concentration. The purpose, dosage and mode of action are the same.

Acaricide "Omite" destroys mites on fruit, soy and grapes in all stages of development of pests, except for eggs.Destroys even individuals resistant to organophosphorus drugs.
