Fenix ​​Duo Fungicide: instructions for use and composition, consumption rates

Composition and release form

The drug is available as a concentrated suspension, the active ingredients of which are thiophanate-methyl (310g/liter) and flutriafol (187g/liter). The concentrate is sold in five-liter plastic canisters, one-liter plastic bottles.

Mechanism of action and purpose of application

Two-component systemic fungicide has a wide range of active effects on the complex of diseases of plant crops:

• the action of thiophanate-methyl is to block the process of protein division of fungal cells, preventing fungi from entering plant tissues;
• flutriafol prevents the penetration of pathogenic cells into plant tissues.

Feature of the drug - the rapid spread of the plant. Also, in the process of pollination, the suspension solution evaporates from the green mass of plants, forming a kind of fumigation cloud. This provides an additional fungicidal effect. Therefore, Phoenix Duo is used for the timely treatment of plants and as part of preventive measures to prevent the occurrence and spread of diseases.

Working fluid consumption rate

Since the product is produced in a concentrated form, the consumption is indicated as the volume of suspension required to process one hundred square meters of land:

• wheat, barley - 5-6 ml;
• sugar beet, soybeans, peas - 4-6 ml;
• sunflower - 6-8 ml;
• apple trees, grapes - 1.5-2 ml.

When using the drug, you must strictly follow the instructions for diluting the suspension with water, specified by the manufacturer.

Drug safety precautions

Fungicide belongs to hazard class 2 for humans and hazard class 3 for bees.

It is forbidden to use in water protection zones of reservoirs. Aircraft spraying of the fungicide is allowed.

When manually spraying plants, certain rules are followed:

• eyes are protected with special glasses when preparing a working solution and spraying plants;
• put on rubber gloves, long sleeves;
• suspension is diluted with water in the proportions recommended by the manufacturer.

At the end of the procedure, wash your face with running water, wash your hands with soap and water. It is forbidden to spray in windy weather (wind speed above 3-4m/s).

In the event of a fire, the suspension is poured with foam from a fire extinguisher or covered with sand.

How to store properly

Suspension is stored in the original packaging, separately from feed, products. It is advisable to allocate a separate dry, ventilated room for pesticides. Do not store the pesticide in a damaged container. It is necessary to pour the drug into an intact canister and stick a leaflet with the name of the fungicide on the surface of the container.
